AVA and EVA each have their own dedicated Circle communities. While we work on bringing them together into a single unified experience, you can easily move between the two when you’re logged in.
If you are part of EVA but have not joined EVA’s community yet, click here to join!
How to switch communities Once logged in to Circle, look for the community switcher on the left-hand side of the screen. Select the community you want to access and it will load instantly. No separate login required.
A note on access You will only see communities in the switcher that you are a member of if your membership on these communities utilises the same Circle account. If you are a member of EVA’s community on Circle but cannot see the EVA community in your switcher, contact us at members@ava.com.au and we will get your access sorted.
What’s next We are currently working on migrating the AVA and EVA communities into one unified space. We’ll keep you updated as this progresses and let you know well in advance of any changes to how you access your community

Visibility in the AVA Member Hub (Circle) depends on where you post. Each space has its own membership and access rules, so your content is only ever seen by the people in that group.
Member lounge Posts in the Member Lounge are visible to all AVA members. This is the general community space for the whole profession.
Special Interest Group spaces Posts in a SIG space are only visible to members of that SIG. If you post in the ASAV space, for example, only Small Animal SIG members will see it.
Restricted spaces Some spaces are restricted to specific member types. A veterinarians-only space, for example, is not accessible to allied professionals such as veterinary nurses, technologists or practice managers. Only members whose profile and membership type meet the access criteria for that space will be able to see or contribute to it.
What spaces will I see? You will only ever see the spaces you have access to. Your visible spaces are determined by your membership type, your SIG sign-ups and your member profile. If a space is not showing in your navigation, it is either not part of your membership or you have not yet joined that SIG. If you would like to be added to a SIG, contact member services at members@ava.com.au.
